Our cattle, sheep and goats are born and raised on pasture throughout their lives. They are humanely raised with ample shade, water and acreage to roam. For the foundation of our herds, we focus on heritage breeds of livestock: animals that thrive on our Sonoma County pastures year round; calve, lamb or kid with ease and are good mothers; and that are vigorous, strong and disease resistant.
Our cattle are Native Shorthorn and Shorthorn crosses. The sheep are several heritage breeds, including Scottish Blackface, Horned Dorset, Romney, St. Croix and Black Welsh Mountain. Our goats are Kiko and Kiko crosses.
Our animals are raised without medication or growth hormones.
